He noted that further restrictions over the next period would increase the strain on the Russian government.

Leader Zelensky urges UK's Sir Keir Starmer to take part in the weapons procurement program
Russia carried out large-scale bombardments throughout the Ukrainian territory on that day, resulting in electricity outages in significant regions of Kyiv, Kyiv, and several other zones.
A pair of individuals were fatally injured and no fewer than 20 people were injured in the strike, Ukrainian officials stated.
In a message on X following the attack, Zelensky wrote that the strategic strike focused on civilian and energy infrastructure.
"What's needed is not just talk but firm measures - from the America, EU, and the G7 - in delivering anti-aircraft weapons and enforcing penalties," he wrote.
"Each restrictive measure diminishes Russia's war machine," Zelensky noted, in a additional update.
In the same period, Zelensky informed the press he would urge Sir Keir to join the weapons procurement scheme, under which partner nations acquire military equipment from the US to provide to the Ukrainian forces.
While applauding the Britain's firm backing for Ukraine, he remarked it should send a clear signal that it would participate in the program, as well as impose further measures on Russia.
