Former Doctor Accused of Sexual Assault Allegations Involving Thirty-Eight Individuals in His Care

Legal authorities have stated that a former doctor has been charged with committing assaults involving thirty-eight individuals who were under his care.

Details of the Grave Charges

The accused, Nathaniel Spencer from Birmingham has been charged with dozens of acts of sexual assault – comprising some against minors under the age of thirteen – between 2017 to 2021.

One deputy chief prosecutor commented, “Legal teams have worked at length to assist a thorough and intricate police inquiry, meticulously examining the evidence to determine that there is a strong case to bring the case to trial and that it is in the interest of justice.”

Scope of the Investigation

These allegations come after what police called a “detailed inquiry” into reported assaults at two hospitals: a hospital in Stoke-on-Trent and a facility in Dudley.

Spencer is due to appear at the local magistrates' court on January 20th.
